Our Teachers

Our teachers are multi-instrumentalists and each have over 15 years experience working with music and young children in professional capacities.  They also work in other areas of education leading Preschool Teacher and Music Together® Teacher workshops, along with giving music lessons and creating unique music curricula for schools.  Amy Conley and Nancy Wight also love to perform music in many settings, from small parties to large concerts.

photo Teachers in Action!

Amy Conley and friends get into drumming! Teachers play a variety of instruments in class as they demonstrate to children that instruments are fun, can create a great atmosphere for playing and dancing, and are not mysterious! Seeing others play inspires children and parents to do the same.

Both Amy and Nancy bring different instruments to class and use them to lead various songs or movement activities. Children are also invited to try out the instruments, before, after and during class. Here is Nancy playing the flute. Other instruments we use are the keyboard, guitar, banjo, recorder, accordion, violin, djembe.
